   What is RFI all About?

THE REDWOOD FOREST INSTITUTE NEEDS YOUR HELP

Founded in 1997 by Charles and Vanna Rae Bello for

To date RFI (Redwood Forest Institute) has 327 members.  It has raised $87,000.00 which is available in its land and tree acquisition fund.  It owns a Conservation Easement on 476 trees that has been placed into a legal form so that they can be saved from harvesting and be restored to become giant redwoods in the Noyo River Basin.  It owns and has management rights with a Conservation Easement on our 400 acres on our land so that when we expire the land will continue to be managed for the benefit of future generations rather than for profit regardless of whom owns the land.

It has 8 board of director members and it has no administrative costs so that every dollar goes towards our mission statement as listed above.

For more information and application for membership contact Charles and Vanna Rae Bello or go to

Just think about it - your $100.00 donation can save an important tree from being cut so that it can be preserved and protected to grow into a Giant Redwood that might still be living 2000 years from now -- is this not awesome?
