To date RFI (Redwood Forest Institute) has 327 members.
It has raised $87,000.00 which is available in its land and tree
acquisition fund. It owns a Conservation Easement
on 476 trees
that has been placed into a legal form so that they can be saved
from harvesting and be restored to become giant redwoods in the Noyo River
Basin. It owns and has management
rights with a Conservation Easement on our 400 acres on our land so that when we
expire the land will continue to be managed for the benefit of future
generations rather than for profit regardless of whom owns the land.
