I am a retired architect. For the past 46 years
my wife and I
developed a quasi self-sufficient life style in our
beautiful
400 acre redwood forest ranch in the heart of
Mendocino
County. We are offering to share the skills we have learned
with kindred souls.

Solar Power - beginning photovoltaic

Green house construction - Geodesic dome

BUILDING WITH STONE

Equipment - safe use of small and heavy equipment

Working with steel - welding, soldering, brazing

Working with concrete - concrete finishing

Wood - glue laminated arches and domes

Operating Lucas Saw Mill

Forestry - planting trees - chain saw use -
falling trees
All skills taught, hands on for entry level with no
prior experience.
Camping situation with shared use of kitchen and
bathroom facilities of 5th wheel trailer. Students supply own food
and persona affects.
